《好侦探》的故事发生在上世纪 70 年代的洛杉矶，倒霉的私家侦探霍兰德·马奇（瑞恩·高斯林饰）和雇佣打手杰克逊·希利（罗素·克劳饰）必须联手侦破一桩失踪女孩案和一桩看似无关的色情明星死亡案。在调查过程中，他们发现了一个牵涉到最高权力层面的惊人阴谋。
