教父的简介
20世纪40年代的美国，“教父”维托·柯里昂（马龙·白兰度 饰）是黑手党柯里昂家族的头目，他率领家族从事非法活动，但同时又是众多弱势平民的守护神，深受人们的崇拜。 柯里昂家族与纽约其他几个黑手党家族因拒绝毒枭索罗索的毒品交易要求而矛盾激化。圣诞前夜，索罗索绑架了“教父”的顾问汤姆，并派人刺杀“教父”；因为叛徒的出卖，“教父”的长子桑尼被敌人杀害；小儿子麦克（阿尔·帕西诺 饰）也卷入其中，失去了爱妻。黑手党家族之间的矛盾愈演愈烈。 老“教父”面对丧子之痛如何统领大局？黑帮之间的恩怨又将如何收场？谁才是家族中的叛徒？谁能成为新一代的“教父”？ 血腥与温情在这部里程碑式的黑帮史诗中真实上演。
